Permanent Caravans

We make it easy for you to camp. The caravans are there, you need to bring the rest situated 20-30 meters away from water on the idyllic banks of the berg river 5 x permanent caravans available for overnight and fishing.

Caravan: Knor-Byte (sleeps 4)

2 x double beds portable braai / electricity point / water point / shaded cover front / dustbin / ground netted area / inside-outside lights / make use of our rustic ablution blocks for toilets & hot showers. (Bring along small camper fridge or cooler box)

Caravan: Knor-Gyte (sleeps 4)

1 x double bed and 2 x single beds portable braai / electricity point / water point / dustbin / ground netted area/ fish netted shaded area in front / small fridge / inside-outside lights / make use of our rustic ablution blocks for toilets & hot showers.

Caravan: Knor-Squeezi (sleeps 4)

2 x double beds portable braai / electricity point / water point / dustbin / ground netted area / inside-outside lights / make use of our rustic ablution blocks for toilets & hot showers (bring along small camper fridge or cooler box)

Bring Along:

  • Your invoice and proof of payment
  • Chairs / Gazebo / Small Fridge (Cooler Box) / Gas Stove
  • Long lead and ground cover
  • Mozi spray and doom (for that unexpected guests)
  • No bedding and cutlery-crockery supplied
  • No washing line or dish washing sink provided
  • When using the ablutions please clean after yourselves for the next camper to use.

 

Rules:

  • WhatsApp your eta (estimated time of arrival) a day before arriving.
  • Entry time: 12h00
  • Exit time: 10h00
  • The speed limit on all farm roads is 20km/h. The speed limit inside the premises is 5km/h
  • Knor Varkie will not be held responsible for any damages or injuries incurred on the premises
  • No music will be permitted
  • Llife jackets must be used on boats / no beaching of boats / no water skiing or tubing off the jetty (this is allowed beyond the train bridge only).
  • Slipway-boat launch (additional fee) / canoe – life jacket rental available (at manager’s office in camping area)
  • Wood and ice available to buy at the Rivershack Restaurant.

Book with our Partner Cracklin Rosie Tours departing from Bokkomlaan, Velddrift. They will collect you from your private Jetty at Knor Varkie.
